Knitting – Knitting is greatly raising in popularity and groups are popping up in towns and cities across the nation. Two long knitting needles and yarn make scarves, hats, shirts, gloves, or whatever else you can think of.

Sports Card Collecting – You can trade sports cards, sell them, buy them, and even frame them. Sports card collecting is a great hobby to share with kids, but is also something adults can enjoy as well. There is low cost to buying packs of cards and getting yourself started with your very own collection.

Building a Ship  in a Bottle – Maneuvering tweezers and little construction pieces in a glass bottle may sound hard, but to build a ship in a bottle it really just takes some concentration and patience. You can find a complete kit at most hobby or craft stores and you just have to have the time to sit down and put the ship together.

Collecting Records – Though music technology has advanced over the decades, records still remain a popular thing to buy. There are a lot of people who still appreciate the sound of vinyl and collecting the unique album covers.

1. Start a blog. That’s right, you can start a blog and write about all of your life adventures. The best thing about a blog is that you can write whatever you want, about anything that you want. 2. Get outdoors. It doesn’t cost a thing to start an outdoor hobby. Put on your sneakers and go for a walk or head out on a trail. You could hike, explore nature, or simply find peace by meditating outdoors.

3. Collect things. You can collect items that are free. Maybe you could collect seashells or rocks. You may even collect flowers or something unique found in nature.

4. Volunteer. Yes, volunteering can be a hobby. Find a cause that you believe in or simply donate your time to your local community. Turn Your Passion into a Hobby
